​A site specific workshop production of a new play by Peter Chansky. A special immersive experience in a brewery not yet open to the public. 

Star mommy (she has a blog) Hillary sets out to throw her baby sister a baby shower at their favorite Brooklyn bar with all her mommy meetup group in attendance. She reserved the best table, her husband has opened a tab, the bar is packed and her children are running around somewhere. Everything seems perfect, but the day takes an unexpected turn. The black sheep of Hilliary’s mommy meetup group, Elsa, turns up without her baby Henry. Hillary is offended. After all, it's a baby shower and Hilliary wants to literally be showered with babies. Everyone at the bar needs to see them with their babies so they will know they are mommies, the thing all women are meant to be. But the mommy meet up is about to be changed forever when the full truth of Henry's absence comes to light. 
The Baby Shower is a dark comedy about parenthood and the overwhelming desire for outside validation. This on site workshop production put the play on its feet in front of an audience for two sold out performances. Peter and Sarah hope to continue development of the production and plan to present it again in 2020.
